IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT – Rescheduling of the National STEM Racing Finals
Following a recent survey conducted among participants preparing for the National Finals, we have taken into consideration the feedback received regarding the additional time needed to complete and refine their projects.
We recognise that many participants are currently managing demanding school examination schedules, which have affected the time available to dedicate to their STEM Racing projects.
In light of this feedback, and following the recommendation of STEM Racing HQ, we are pleased to announce that the National STEM Racing Finals will now take place during the first-quarter school holidays of 2027.
More Time to Innovate, Design and Prepare
This adjustment will provide participants with additional time to:
- Complete and refine their projects to the best of their abilities.
- Further develop and improve their cars, portfolios and presentations.
- Prepare more thoroughly for the National Finals while maintaining their academic commitments.
Furthermore, the revised schedule will give potential World Finals qualifiers additional time to secure sponsorships and funding, finalise their preparations and get ready for the international competition.
Registration Reopening – Limited Period
We have also received several requests from individuals and teams interested in joining the STEM Racing competition.
In response to these requests, we will be reopening registration for a short period, providing an additional opportunity for new participants and teams to join the competition.
We encourage interested schools, teachers, mentors and students who have not yet registered to take advantage of this opportunity.
Further information regarding the registration deadline and process will be communicated separately.
Moving Forward
We believe these adjustments will create a better environment for all teams to showcase their hard work, creativity, engineering skills and innovation.
We sincerely thank all participants, teachers, mentors, parents and schools for their understanding, continued commitment and support.
Further details regarding the exact date and arrangements for the National Finals will be communicated in due course.
Let’s use this additional time wisely and make the National Finals a celebration of innovation, engineering and excellence!
