Competing alongside the Formula 1® Singapore Grand Prix.

Two Mauritian Teams. One Historic African Milestone.

In October 2026, Mauritius will proudly take its place on the global stage as two Mauritian teams — CSE Velocity and Racing Vortex — represent Mauritius and Africa at the Aramco STEM Racing World Finals in Singapore, held alongside the Singapore Grand Prix.

This historic participation marks the first-ever representation from Africa at the Aramco STEM Racing World Finals, bringing together young innovators from Mauritius to compete with teams from around the world in a unique blend of science, technology, engineering, mathematics, enterprise and Formula 1-inspired motorsport.

CSE Velocity

Representing Collège du Saint-Esprit, CSE Velocity earned its place at the World Finals after becoming the inaugural winner of the 2025 STEM Racing Mauritius National Final. The team brings together a dedicated group of young students who have transformed their passion for engineering and motorsport into an international opportunity.

Racing Vortex

Representing Sookdeo Bissoondoyal State College, Racing Vortex is making its international debut with a team of three talented young girls. Their journey celebrates inclusion, equal opportunity and the growing role of girls in STEM, engineering and motorsport, proving that talent can come from every community.
